About her
Why not! I am a happy recently turned 56yr old living in a village in Hampshire. Life is perfectly enjoyable but it would be far more fun to do things with someone else. I go to the cinema regularly, and it would be great to have someone nudge me to stay awake! I enjoy walking, gardening, and cooking - although the results aren't always as anticipated. I go to London fairly often to meet friends or visit art galleries and exhibitions and as I recently received a birthday present to visit the Shard, that will be the next venture. I work part-time which I enjoy - most of the time - but do day dream about how lovely it would be to win the lottery and take off and explore more of the world as the mood takes me.
I have a positive outlook on life and firmly believe it is up to you to create a happy life for yourself. Strong friendships are important to me and I still have a number of friends from when I started school that I'm in regular contact with so that must say something!

Good communication is the most important quality I look for. Someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously and who can appreciate my humour! I would love to be able to share my thoughts and worries and chew them over with someone who is genuinely interested and who can come up with their own opinions as well as consider mine - which ultimately boils down to the usual - good communication!!! I would like to walk through the country-side, have pub lunches, go to the cinema, enjoy cream teas and all the other activities and opportunities there are in life that would be fun to do with someone else - the list is endless and life is too short...................so don't be a stranger, drop me a line and who knows what may happen.
