A fit/active genuine independent & caring gent who strives to maintain a happy/contented disposition. Enjoys meeting up with family/friends. Not a pet keeper, but remain a dog minder/ walker for close family friends. Can be well turned out in smart casuals or suit if needed, shoes polished of course.
Likes to walk/trek, swim, cycle, and generally keeping healthy with gardening (voluntary&paid), and indoor exercises. Reading; mainly historical novels, some fiction, current affairs, RHS mags & family tree research. Also enjoy architecture, archaeology& history,(did Uni short courses in 2014 & 2015 for the credits) and also involved with archeology digs in Wales and Kent then.
Not keen on crowded venues/ background noise ( due to part hearing loss), but with company willing to give a try at least. Not a wine expert but likes Merlot/ Cabernet Sauv and enjoys a glass 2-3 times a week. Dislikes: vehicle drivers that dont indicate their intentions! Rude and/or abusive restaurant/cafe customers to staff.
My fun times mainly spent with family in my area. Also spending time with my daughter in Sussex. My outlook on life: try to be happy with my lot and improve where I can, and hopefully to find a lady friend/companion with shared likes asap.
