Surreal sense of humour, very quick witted (sometimes too quick) caring, loyal, empathetic, eclectic choices of music. Separated, but now a home owner again. I will rent it out until my retirement, by which time I will also be renting out another property, maybe in a nice hot country. I Love music and football, ethnic foods and foreign holidays. If you fall over and you and your friends think it was hilarious, I'd be checking you weren't injured before I joined in with the laughter. I've been accused of being too caring. I'm a gentleman who will never be so presumptuous as to make the first move unless the lady made it clear she wanted me to. Hungry? I can have a roast dinner on the table in two hours flat with crispy roast potatoes to die for. Do you have a rabbit or guinea pigs. I'd quite happily build you a two storey hutch. With a bit of time to plan, I can turn myself to most things. I'm very easy going, but can get miffed. And I might raise my voice, but it's only letting off steam and then when I've said my bit, I'd probably ask if you want a cuppa or ask what you fancy for dinner. Now my wife has finally got rid of me, her clothing bill will rise. She can't sew to save her life. But I can stitch any seam. Hate ironing? Stick me in front of a TV with a good DVD and the ironing board, and I can chill like no other. Apart from lawns, I don't understand gardens though. How can you be told to weed a border and get rid of those pesky pink weeds and then be told off for weeding them out of the next border because they weren't weeds, they were supposed to be there so they were flowers? I'm short. I'm only five foot six. But if I were able to balance my heart on top of my head, I'd be the tallest Man in history.

Honest, caring individual. At least of average intelligence and intellect. Able to converse on any subject. Looks not vitally important. Eclectic music taste, but preferably able to appreciate rock, jazz, blues, and classical and anything else where musicianship is key. (No pun intended). Someone who will appreciate me for who I am, not who they can change me too. Someone who appreciates a genuine gentleman. Ideally, my new friend should see humour in anything and everything. If I were having a disagreement with my brother and he accused me of being just like my sister, and I replied "what? Do I look dead" would you be shocked ? Or like the Barmaid say that only one of us two could be so irreverent? Sometimes you have to laugh or you'll cry. I know my sister would have laughed. She probably did. If you like swimming, and I mean swimming as in Upto 2km in a leisurely pool session, or one side of a bay and back again in the warm Med, introduce yourself. I've never been on a cruise and I'd love to. If you have, join me and show me the ropes.
