About him
Easy going, relaxed, un stressed, now retired from professional life until such time as I may get bored, though I may come to appreciate no longer being involved in the daily grind? In other words I can now please myself as to work and play, and have the time to so do. So on to new things and people! That'd be you then?
Enjoy cycling, tennis, most sports especially rugby and cricket, both of which I played until I was 50. Currently I have developed an interest in collecting modern classic cars, though now I probably have enough of them and should stop. Take an interest in anything vintage or antiquey, old houses, especially those with a decent pub or restaurant nearby!
Happy to go walkabout most places, but especially through ancient woodland. If you have a nice big dog, all the better.
Prefer the country to the town, dislike crowds unless there is a good reason to be among them. Would not be happy spending a Saturday morning walking around Brent Cross/Bluewater shopping centres for example! Although for 'the one you love' any exceptions could be made?
I appreciate the company of intelligent and witty women who can engage in both comedic banter and occasionally serious topical conversation. Own house, own teeth, don't owe anybody anything. 3 lovely grand daughters, 2 daughters and a son, the latter who seems to have become a recluse of late, as I never hear from him? Are all 26 year old young men like that? Relish the fact that at my still modest age (!) I am allowed to be grumpy, though be assured I don't abuse the privilege!
Unlike most men it seems, I would be very happy to ask questions about YOU, and will even listen to and be interested in the answer! I'm told that this is a rare ability? Think that'll do for now, if you need to know more feel free to ask, and I'll try to reply in a sensible manner!
