About her
I'm a relatively upbeat person, I'm loyal to my friends and love to take nice walks in the country or by the sea with my dogs I have a chihuahua and a miniature dachshund but don't let their size put you off - they are real dogs! I would like to have a companion to share theses walks with, my dogs regualarly walk with much larger dogs.
I particularly love the sea in all it's moods. My one regret is that I never learnt to sail, my late husband did not have good sea legs.
I also like to explore different parts of Corfu the lovely country I have recently relocated to. I would love to visit more of the world and a partner to share these visits with would be a bonus. I love listening to music and watching a good film. I enjoy reading, going out to eat and staying in to chat. I have one grown-up daughter who is married with one child who is aged 18 I am very close to my family.
I was born in Manchester and have lived in various counties in England. I moved to Devon in 1983 and although I still spend time with family/friends outside Devon I love living in Devon. My late husband and I did buy a barn in France and had 12 years "doing it up" but we didn't live there full time. In 2021 I relocated to Corfu, Greece and have now settled there permanently.
About her ideal match
My ideal match would be someone who likes at least some of the things I do, although I'm not adverse to doing new things. He should be easy going and not be upset if I want some alone time, he may want that too. He should be able to fit in to my life as I would try to fit into his. He should not resent my family, and should also like dogs as I have 2.
He would need to have his own transport, (only because I would not want to do all the commuting) like going out to eat or enjoying staying in to eat and having the odd glass of wine or two.
