I am good company and have a fun sense of humour. I am easy-going, kind and loyal. My friends tell me I am a good friend. I have recently retired from work. Now I am retired I am not stressed and try to make every day count. I am not a townie and I prefer being in the countryside or by the coast. I love walking in Wales and walking the coastal path round Wales. My favourite places in Wales are the Gower Peninsula and St Davids in Pembrokeshire. I walk my dog a lot and do yoga. I love motorhoming and like to go away for single nights and longer periods. I occasionally take the family and grandchildren. I would like to meet a man who shares my love of countryside. I am a good cook, like cooking for family and friends, and I am very practical and can turn my hand to most things. I have an eclectic musical taste (if I like it I listen to it), and I love reading. I like live music and motorsport, and have been known to drive competitively in the dim and distant past!. I like going to Greece. I used to run regularly but now just walk a lot. I like gardening and although I have a long term illness that caused me to retire, I manage it well and I am otherwise fit and healthy, and intend to stay that way. I can do most things still (sometimes slower than I'd like to!!) I love my kids and 4 grand children and like to see them and do family things together. I am a glass half-full type of person. I hate shopping. Happiest casual in jeans.

An ideal partner is hard to describe because I think that is a lot about chemistry. I am quite an independent woman and I am looking for someone to love and to share my life with. I am not looking for wealth, but I am looking for a man who wants to share their life & to be in an equal partnership. I am 5' 11". My ideal man should be of slim/normal build and look after themselves. I am not personally interested in golf, football, rugby etc but like a man who has sport interests and am happy to support him in those. But not be glued to TV sport. I have grown-up children who all live nearby are all busy getting on with their lives and having their own children.
