My friends would probably describe me as down to earth and willing to give most things a twirl. Family, laughter and music are what makes me the happiest and all three are so important but all hearts can stretch to accommodate more and I’m willing to check it out for one last try!
I used to play badminton and I was a damn good amateur shooter but I’ve packed my racquets away and the guns went in storage many moons ago. I still keep myself fit but a 6k walk, general keep fit sessions and a few laps of the swimming pool are enough for me nowadays.
No, you won’t find me paragliding, paddle boarding, boxing, skateboarding or surfing but I’m willing to learn golf (love the crazy sort), bicycling or bowls (may be a bit sedate though). I’m sorry but I’ve never appreciated getting up at the crack of dawn to traipse over muddy fields to watch a football being kicked around or follow the rugby. I’d rather be cooking your brunch for when you eventually return. I do appreciate a man who needs his own space to do what men have to do as I’m quite an independent soul myself. I’m just as happy being left behind curled up in an armchair reading a novel and gathering my energy for your welcome return. I’ve never really subscribed to this idea that couples should be joined at the hip although they do say ‘don’t knock it until you’ve tried it’.
Maybe I’m just too patient and tolerant - I’m willing to give something new a twirl, which brings me back to the beginning!

All I know for sure is that he needs to be taller than me; confident, happy in his self and just make me laugh. A shared sense of humour is obligatory really and I find kindness is also a very attractive aspect. Kindness is a much underrated virtue which is rarely mentioned but if you were lacking in it then that would be a deal breaker.
