Hello. My friends describe me as friendly, sociable, open and honest, and a person who loves to laugh. I enjoy meeting new people, and love travel and adventure.
I enjoy most sports,(although it's more watching now than playing!).I love the great outdoors, and like to keep fit and active. I am a keen gig rower, and also cox crews in local regatta races. I enjoy gardening, walking, cycling, and watching rugby. I have recently taken up Pilates, and discovered muscles I didn't even know I had!
But when the dark winter evenings arrive, I am more than happy to be indoors by a roaring fire; I like cooking and entertaining at home, drinking wine, eating out. I also enjoy the theatre, live music events, watching a good movie, and reading novels and poetry.
I love beaches, sunshine, flip-flops, and messing around in boats.
I have an optimistic outlook on life, and have learned how to 'dance in the rain', (my metaphor for dealing with the bad times!). I am open minded, enjoy new challenges, and don't take myself too seriously.

The qualities I admire in a person are honesty, integrity, a good sense of humour, someone who is fun to be around, and who is sociable and considerate. Friendliness, a good communicator and sincerity are also important to me.
