About her
I am retired after being in the travel industry over 40years and travelled the world. I love history and visiting English Country Houses, some museums. Having lunch in a village pub. Love music from Jazz to Classic, although Rap goes over my head. The usual things like theatre and cinema. I am a great reader, enjoy biographies, historical, and murder mysteries especially James Patterson. I live with my lovely dog called Florence she is a Lasso Apso X and 22months old. We go for long walks round the village where I live and is known by everyone as she is friendly and nosy - well she is female! Friends say I look young for my age, and always look well dressed. Not a jeans person. I like to cook and enjoy decorating my bungalow. Plan to change one room to a library in January for my collection of books. I like to think I am friendly and socialable, but I do not like to be the centre of attraction.

My ideal match would be a kind considerate man, easy to talk to and quite outgoing as I tend to be shy among strangers. Well read, interested in most things from sport to politics!! Would be nice if he had travelled some as we would have something to talk about. Loves most cuisines and perhaps enjoys cooking himself. An independent man who is secure in himself.
