About him
I consider myself a simple yet intelligent, gentle but strong, quiet man with a kind heart. I'm always seeking a reason to smile and usually don't have to look very long! I am very in-tune with myself, yet love the challenge of change. As you can tell by reading my Interests, I belong outdoors. However, I often relax with a book in my hand sitting in front of the fireplace or with my feet up out back overlooking my lake.
I'm laid back and low-maintenance. I am far from selfish and love to share.
God blessed me with a successful managerial career which enabled me to retire at the age of 48. I have been completely debt free for many years.
Traveling and visiting new places is always exciting and adventurous. I prefer to make such trips with a companion. I've studied and vacationed abroad, but my future destinations will be focused within the US. So much to see and appreciate!
Music is a part of my life as I occasionally play drums in a jazz quartet. My shop is filled with woodworking equipment and I enjoy creating useful pieces. But my tool belt is always close by to make repairs around the house and farm as well as to lend a helping hand to friends.
The question about Drinking is misleading. Every evening I unwind with a couple of beers. So, I do indulge more that 3 times a week, but never intoxicate myself - just simply enjoy the taste and relaxation.

I truly am serious in meeting a wonderful, insightful, intelligent, beautiful and charming woman. My lifestyle is such that enables me to be completely independent - financially and otherwise. I do own a farm and have some obligations with general maintenance. I also am committed to a community service program.
