My daughters call me a mad old bat!
I cook, crochet, make jams and jellies and make and sell jewellery. I enjoy gardens, all sorts of music, reading (mostly who-dunnits!), Radio 4, socialising with friends and family, wine (lots!), coffee, cats and cooking. I also enjoy history, birds and quizzes, and I love my car. I have a huge book collection and I like all types of food and going out for meals.
I loathe housework and ironing.
My politics are left-wing and I am very unhappy about Brexit, but even so I am looking forward to the birth of my second grandson in July.

I would like to meet someone who is open-minded, funny and clever; someone who enjoys books and quizzes and socialising and staying in. You will like cats as well as dogs, quizzes and be prepared to ignore the dust on the skirting boards!
I need someone who, although I am trying to stop smoking, would understand that it is a very difficult thing to do.
