About him
I've always tried to accomplish three things as I plow through the fog of life. Here's every day's "do list" -- First, help somebody.That can be as simple as giving them a smile. Second, learn something new. And third, have a great day!
I'm a retired RN who has also had several other occupations: teacher, write/editor, carpenter, stained glass craftsman and glassblower (the Italian kind at the furnace.) I also love to cook, and I roast my own coffee.
I'm something of an introvert, and a little shy. I've never had large numbers of friends, but I'm loyal to the ones I have. A few friends go back to high school days, and that's been a while!
I have been blessed with three children, two girls and a boy, all doing spectacularly well. One grandchild.
I'm not married now, and I'm focusing on enjoying life as a single person after a lifetime of being part of a couple. It's an interesting transition.
About his ideal match
I would enjoy meeting a person with a good heart and a lot of curiosity about the world. I survived the '60's, so I know that a little craziness can add spice. A travel buddy would be great! I'm hoping to travel, and for me, sharing travel experiences is more fun than going alone.
