Well I look at it this way, if you get to know me, you'll either make a lovely new friend or have a funny story to tell - perhaps even both. I am a warm confident and outgoing person who likes to be amusing and amused. I have very wide ranging circle of friends, and interests, and life is full of discovery.

I am looking for a kind affable chap who still has some joie de vivre left despite reaching 50 or beyond. We find we really enjoy talking to each other about all sorts of things, and perhaps being introduced to worlds we never knew existed till we met. I find him intelligent and knowledgable. He understands I prefer to talk through any problems that may arise, and find an amicable solution. Surprisingly, I can be generally open to reason. We have been known on occasion to make one another helpless with laughter. He finds coffee and endorphins get him through life more effectively than copious quantities of booze and drugs, at least for the most part! We share quite a number of interests, and are tolerant and supportive of each other's family, friends work etc. He is a generous and thoughtful man who understands that 'with all faults' is how we are, and likely to remain so despite our best efforts! Every now and then he does something that surprises me (in a good way) just to keep me on my toes. He likes dogs, and and is quite possibly into country sports. He doesn't expect me to go cycling or sailing (get v sea sick!) He is delighted Glyndebourne is just down the road from me. He finds me utterly adorable, and totally irresistible, and I am pretty smitten with him too naturally!
