About her
Who knew retirement could be so much fun. I’m currently enjoying myself getting involved in what’s on offer . Currently on courses for languages French and German, I’ve also tried art , painting, archery and pottery and upped my theatre , dance and concert attendance, by becoming a member at The Lowry to experience new things . Hoping to join U3A for a broader scope of offerings. It’s exciting to have all these new opportunities but would be so much better with a loving and supportive partner by my side to enjoy experiences and share and discuss things with .
I’m relaxed , positive, happy, honest, caring, enjoy life and am certainly determined to make the most of this third age . I’m the one in a group who suggests and arranges outings, holidays etc a doer rather than a talker ,more so now as I am determined to make the most of life .
Open to adventures and hope you are too but I’m a walker not a hiker, prefer a warm car to bikes, a house or cottage rent, rather than a camper , and prefer the train to buses, I have to say that my tastes have veered towards being more“genteel”as I’ve reached this exciting part of my life !
I would love to meet someone with similar interests , an enquiring mind , open to interesting conversations and new experiences as a friend, and hopefully partner, as we get know one another .
I’m also open to platonic relationships only , all we have to do is enjoy one another’s company to make outings more enjoyable for us both. I scrub up well and can carry on a polite conversation so very good to take as an “plus one” a role I’ve played for my friends in the past.

I enjoy friendly discussion and conversation and hope you would too , learning from one another and expanding our horizons when we are not at live gigs or out enjoying good food or creating mischief.
I choose to be happy in my life and want someone with the same outlook, how we react to things is our choice and I choose the positive as I hope you would.
I do believe that we should treat everyone with respect so someone who doesn’t do that would get short shrift from me , I dislike inequality and have always been someone who champions others so would expect the same life viewpoint .
