This will make me sound very "average", lol, I like doing lots of things but I wouldn't say I'm fanatical about any of them, so: walking, eating out, relaxed conversations, theatre, cinema, reading, sewing/crafts, tv. I love having days out (beach, NT, castles, cities etc) especially to go somewhere I've never been before, or just revisiting old favourites. I'm not sporty but happy to be around people who are, my favourite form of exercise is a nice long walk, especially with a drink at the end. The most important people in my life are my family and I would prefer to be with someone who feels the same about theirs too. I like being around other people but am equally happy to spend time as a couple or just doing things on my own. I'm interested in life in general and what's going on in the world, although I'm by no means anywhere near an expert. I'm a bit on the quiet side to begin with but soon come out of my shell in the right company.

This bit is really hard as I would much rather meet someone and see how we get on in person than write a prescriptive list of rights and wrongs. However, I would like to meet someone who is kind, caring and considerate, not just to me but to people in general. Someone who is moderately active and shares similar interests to me would be good. Sorry to say this but no cat owners please, nothing against the owners, its the cats that I'm not too keen on, lol
