Hello, thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
I am on this site to hopefully meet someone for my last first date.
I have been single for a while and miss that special person to share thoughts with, sit in silence with whilst both reading, or to travel with.
I am honest, easygoing, thoughtful, faithful and feel much younger than my age.
I really love to travel, and have lived in both Switzerland and Portugal, but that was a long time ago.
I have visited the USA many times. As a child and teen visiting close family, and for work and holiday as an adult.
My favourite city break in Europe has to be Rome. Further afield, I absolutely loved the Okavango Delta in Botswana. It is the most amazing place to see the natural world.
I would like to revisit one day.
I also enjoy driving to a beach or the countryside in the UK or Ireland, and spending a weekend or just going for a long walk.
I am a huge fan of The Arts. Nothing better than visiting a museum or show. I think that live music is the best, and have a number of concert tickets booked for this summer, all openair. Sports is a huge draw for me.....I watch Rugby, Tennis, F1 and the Euros and World Cup. Every year I watch the NFL Superbowl, and have seen the Lakers play at the Staples Centre.
I am retired and enjoy cooking, reading and gardening. The latter I do in Ireland as my mother has a very large garden, but I visit her quite regularly.
I would love a garden but unfortunately I live in an apartment. That suits my lifestyle at the moment. I don't have any pets but love dogs. Cats are okay and I am really scared of birds.
