There's room in most peoples' contacts for a pal to invite to a walk on the sands, an evening at the theatre or a bite to eat at some impromptu food fair ... maybe we fit that bill for each other.
These days I’m delighted to have free time to enjoy the unfolding of life around me (having recently stopped working for a living!) and - being naturally curious about life - I try to live each day to the edges. Walking’s a great love of mine, as is good conversation, and the chance to enjoy both at the same time is sweet. It’s a bonus that they both go towards keeping both body and soul in good repair too. Happy in my own skin, I love to laugh and people tell me that I'm fun to have around, attentive, kind, oh, and I have a great smile! (I hope I deserve the description).
Over the years, I've worked in the worlds of education and human development across a wide and wonderful spectrum which I realise has been most fortunate and well as fulfilling. Much of this work and the networks it has afforded me continue to be significant when volunteering in the arts worlds, though these days I’m mainly writing for fun.
