About her
I’m an optimist and generally see the funny side of situations. I don’t take my self seriously. Life’s too short. I’m reasonably talented ie I can tinkle a mean tune on the piano, I paint reasonably well, I write many drafts of novels that are yet to be published. I’ve done all the right things like having children, dogs, cats, goldfish and a husband, but not necessarily in the right order. I dislike dishonesty, selfishness and cruelty to animals, so hence I do not like any blood sport. I love travelling and exploring other countries. I’m not a beach bum so the travelling needs to be adventurous, exploratory or cultural. I adore France and have forever been trying to learn French. I also adore going to the theatre and am a friend/member of the Globe Theatre

My ideal match must be kind and definitely have a good sense of humour. He should be energetic and healthy. He should like to travel and have a strong interests in the arts. He should enjoy going to the theatre, concerts and galleries. But I don’t want a replica of me. I want to be with someone who I can learn new skills with, who will widen my horizon in terms of interests and experience. He should be comfortably well-off and established in his life. He must not have intolerant views on race, sex or religion. In addition to cruelty and unkindness of any kind, any form of prejudice, racism or sexism is a definite deal breaker for me.
