Hello, I’m Tom – 54, divorced, and ready to embrace the next chapter with curiosity, humour and an open mind. When I last dipped my toe into this sort of thing, people were still posting ads in newspapers and texting meant leaving a message on someone’s landline - no websites, no selfies, no social media. But I’m looking forward to new beginnings.
I believe that love is built over time and not created instantly, so I’m hoping to meet someone for genuine companionship, shared experiences, and a genuine connection with someone who is independent, has lived, laughed, is kind, fun-loving and understands the value of good company. And if there’s chemistry involved, then the adventure becomes even more exciting.
I’ve led an interesting life and have plenty of tales to tell. Sport has always been part of my life, but these days I’ve settled into something more sedate - lawn bowls (go on, laugh – my kids do). I also enjoy gardening and all kinds of music (though my taste seems to have remained frozen since 2010), and I’ll never turn down a good stand-up gig, film, quiz, museum or gallery.
