I have been called a charmer, a thinker, loyal, honest, thoughtful, exasperating and a pain in the arse. I have been a forest manager and an English teacher, the former I loved and the latter a survival tactic.
I like reading & writing, films, detective series, wildlife & walking, sustainable living, cooking, antiques, history and sitting in the sun watching the world go by. I dislike most people because they're too selfish, and therefore crowded places.
Just come back to the elephant's graveyard after spending thirty years in France so rediscovering Scotland.
I smoke, but don't let that put you off, I do it in my man-cave. During my thirty years in France, I acquired the habit of wine with meals(red) which is recommended for your health you know, that's my excuse anyway. `Slow Food` (Italian invention) is fine principal.
Now men are from Mars and women from Venus which is the main cause of conflict. Negotiation and compromise are the answer to this.
