Why because, I am genuinely a happy contented person, well educated, and have travelled and seen other culturals and life, very sociable fun to be with and a great sense of humour! I enjoy meeting new people, have interests which consist of cooking, travel, crafts, genealogy, photography, to name but a few. Born in Dublin's fair City, which needless to say I love My outlook on life is to enjoy everyday, as its a blessing, I have had my share of ups and downs, and life has thrown things I didn't expect at me, but, brush yourself down, no self pity here and live! I am a Catholic, and my faith is important to me, its helped me through adversity and keeps me smiling. My family mean the world to me, we are close, but do not intrude on one another's lives, I have good friends which I cherish, just it would be so nice to meet someone to fill the blank in. Until a few months ago I was a carer for my elderly brother who sadly died a month ago, he was a lovely man, and I would do it all,again, but now it's my time to live and hopefully meet a really nice guy. But all the guys on here appear to want younger women, sad how they seem to think the older ladies are over the hill, not so, you really should give us a chance, as we grow older we won't be looking for younger guys.
