I am an outgoing, friendly, articulate retired lady with eclectic tastes and an easy going nature. I'm open to trying almost anything once.
An avid jazz fan (Traditional Dixieland), I enjoy many types of music, reading, cooking for friends, walking, making things grow, eating out, travel, spending time somewhere warm in winter and more. Although I no longer have pets of my own I do like dogs and cats. I treasure time spent together with my family but at the moment am happy living on my own.
I worry about our environment and the legacy we are leaving our children and grandchildren. I try to do my bit towards energy conservation and preserving our environment. As well, I like to support local business and farmers and am I am actively involved in volunteering at a community farmers' market where we promote locally grown produce.
It is my personal philosophy that people are generally about as happy as they make up their minds to be and I try to live each day to its fullest and enjoy every moment.
