I am a bit of a country bumpkin and do not like town/city life but am happy to visit and scrub up pretty well. I used to live on a farm with horses and still volunteer at local and national events. My children and grandchildren are a big part of my life and are very important to me but I do not plan to let them take over all my spare time. I enjoy gardening, entertaining friends and family, travelling abroad, walking my dog and eating out, preferably with a friend or two. I like going to the theatre but not on my own. and I am interested in all country activities.
One never knows what the future will bring but my philosophy now is to live each day and enjoy life.

I would love to meet someone who shares similar interests and has a good sense of humour and who would enjoy doing these things with a friend. I am not keen on facial hair or tattoos but it is the person underneath that matters.
