About her
I have lived a happy and rewarding life full of travels, adventure and wonderful experiences. There is still a lot of it left and I'd like to share it with someone like-minded. I am fairly independent but also quite social so I am happiest when I am with people I can connect with doing things we commonly enjoy. I love creative endeavours as well as travelling, and although I have been to many places, there is still a lot left to experience. It is the best feeling in the world to share discoveries and adventures with h someone you care about.
Having travelled extensively in my professional life, I have a keen interest in world views, along with many hobbies like photography, painting and anything creative, health and green issues, gardening, diy and decorating, walks in nature, dancing most of which are enjoyed more deeply with someone else to share them with. A bit of an idealist still....
Relaxing...Sunshine... I like low key settings where we can talk, listen to music, or watch a film with the occasional glass of wine, or going somewhere new. I have been on my own quite a while and I actually enjoy and need time alone once in a while. I am now retired and I like to keep myself busy with volunteer projects, teaching languages, community building....

I am looking for someone who might have an easy laughter, a twinkle in the eye and an easy going and gentle manner.
I enjoy lively discussions on world affairs, or any of the issues I care about so a bit of interest (and knowledge) in these would make time together fun. Someone interested in some of my hobbies would be a definite plus: painting, dancing, discovering, helping others.... etc..
I would expect taking things a little slow, and getting to know each other as friends and if chemistry shows up, I would welcome it, if not, activity partners are great too.
