Still active both socially and business wise, fit (work out every day), kind, considerate, very good listener, have sufficient income, keep my mind active with Sudoko most days. Well traveled both on business and pleasure and lived abroad for good periods of my life. I have lived in Paris, New York, Kuwait, La Herradura (in Spain where I had an avocado farm) and Delray Beach in Florida. My musical taste varies - depending upon the mood - from jazz through to classical choral works (I was a Director of the Master Chorale of South Florida).
I can live with myself as I enjoy my own company, but would prefer someone with whom I can share my joie de vivre.
Have held top corporate positions as a qualified banker, accountant and treasurer as well as involved in a couple of businesses - glass manufacturer (laboratory and chandeliers) as well as 13 care homes.
Well educated with a handful of degrees and Fellowships of professional organisations. I am still an email counselor with SCORE in Florida.
I feel that the mystical "chemistry" is the most important feature in a good relationship and it is either present or it isn't and one knows instinctively - if one is honest - within minutes of meeting.
I collect northern UK industrial art (aka Lowry) as it represents part of our social history. However, favourite artist is Jack Vettriano. Now I am into collecting glass sculptures (aka Dale Chihuly) with over 200 pieces. Also, my extensive collection of books by and about Sir Walter Scott now resides at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland.
I am just a simple ordinary guy who has been extremely lucky in life and relationships. I apologise for having lied about my age as I find I am missing out on searches by many ladies with age restrictions. What lady in her right mind would search for a guy in his 80's as most are past it!!!!. I am in fact a "young 88" and the photo was taken in May 2018 in my apartment and I haven't aged much since.
