.As they say.. "fresh to market" after a decade prioritising family. Now the last child has left the nest, time for me!
When this stage in life has been reached it becomes apparent that the benefit of a successful partnership exceeds the sum of the 2 halves and that caring about your partner is more important than self interest. It's not how long you know someone it's the difference you make to their life
I have 3 children and 4 grandchildren all of whom have left home. In the past I led a very active outdoor life mainly in the hills,which is possibly why bits have now started to wear out and limit this. I still manage to enjoy life in the mountains, mainly in Spain, although in a less energetic manner.

I play a bit of saxophone, yes I know its late for a mid life crisis, but I have done the motorbike! My musical tastes are fairly catholic, however I am currently listening to jazz sax greats
