I am a happy, sociable, generous person who loves meeting up with friends and family.
I am pleased to put on my boots for a country walk (though not too many miles) or dress up for a night on the town! (I scrub up well).
I am retired but volunteer at a local historical site, I facilitate a monthly Historical evening, I sing in a choir, love music of many kinds, I love cooking (and eating) and take a great interest in local and national political and current issues.
I have an allotment, grow my own veg, enjoy getting my hands dirty and enjoy being out doors.
I like to travel, sun, sand, sea, abroad and here, I absolutely love a walk on a beach and a paddle in the sea. But I also love to visit places to learn about other cultures, race or religion.
I enjoy my life, I am a half full glass of person but I would love to meet that someone 'special'
About her ideal match
I have no set person in mind but that person would need to enjoy being social and happy to participate in various friends and family events and activities (theirs and mine). It would be good if they enjoyed some of the things I do but maybe had their own interests too! I don't want someone to live in 'my pocket' or me in theirs.
