I'm quite shy but you would never know it, I've learned how to cover it up and although I'm very modest, think I have one of the best senses of humour anywhere! Becoming single after a divorce has made my personality come alive. I'm a good listener, having always done some kind of voluntary work where I can use this strength. I am kind to people and animals - I have a son, I am very close to, who lives abroad where I spend a lot of my time, my grandchildren are very important to me. I also have a dog I adore who is such a companion to me living alone. Dont think I could live without a dog in my life but as I'm getting older, although I'm very independent, the icing on the cake - that is my life - would be a male companion to share the things I enjoy doing, like restaurants, the cinema, the theatre and anything to do with the Arts. So, beginning to realise that a special kind of man in my life is something I would like.

He should be quite tall, but as I'm only 5ft 1inch, not too tall. I say this because my dad, who was about 5ft 10 made me feel secure, when he put his arm around me. I miss that. He has to have a great sense of humour, intelligent, as I love to chat about News even though I might not be an expert on world events, I do have my views and enjoy discussing these things. He would have to be kind and like animals, especially Harry, my dog. Ideally I would love to meet my soul mate as I dont think I ever have - even after a 23 year marriage - but I know this is just a dream.
