I am tall with an athletic build; an outgoing, sociable guy with an active lifestyle, good sense of humour and optimistic outlook.
I have my own house, car, career, teeth and hair and a good circle of friends, the only thing missing is someone to share it with.
I enjoy travelling and undertaking physical challenges and this has helped me to stay in good shape - I celebrated my 50th with a trek to Everest Base Camp; I have cycled all over the UK and done a lot of cycling in Europe and Ireland. I started training for triathlons in 2013 and have completed 2 iron distance events and qualified to represent Great Britain in my age group at three European Championship events.
I am sometimes mocked by my friends for my sports clothing choices - I admit to favouring form over fashion when it comes to dressing but its what's inside that counts! When driving, I prefer Radio 3 and 4 to 1 or 2, the last time I was in a nightclub they were playing 45's from a thing called the 'hit-parade'.
My first career was as a professional chef which was a career that led me to living in Bermuda briefly, whilst I haven't cooked professionally for many years (moved into IT - yawn but financially rewarding) I still enjoy the opportunity to show off in the kitchen by hosting regular dinner parties.
A sense of humour is essential.
