About him
I'm a thoughtful & considerate English Gentleman, widower, comfortably retired, who loves to travel worldwide (20+ countries a year, independently, making my own itineraries) & with the experience & languages to do this. Trips were a week; or up to several months. I preferred to share these experiences with a companion. Usually staying in comfortable hotels, often with a hire car, always with a smile. Preferred countryside / small towns / islands to busy cities; prefer local character to bland chains, whether for sleeping or eating. Anywhere from France to Fiji; Venice to Vietnam; Argentina to Australia, Turkey to Tahiti.
I'm experienced at sailing (qualified skipper), skiing, yoga teacher, therapist. I enjoy hiking, cycling, swimming, scuba, socialising, eating out, photography, music. I'm a capable handyman.
I am initially looking for a friend, someone to spend time with and maybe do some travelling with. For example in New Zealand in December.
I'm easy-going; though I prefer a travelling companion to pull their weight. And who has the availability to travel (meaning probably retired & without kids/grandkids to look after.)
My outlook on life? Anything is possible. Let's make things happen.
