About him
Hi! I'm looking for an adventurous travel companion to explore interesting parts of the world. I've travelled a fair amount in the last twenty-five years. I come from England originally and have lived in Canada for over four decades. Each spring I spend several weeks in England to see family and friends, visit National Trust locations and enjoy the English countryside. In England and other countries, I enjoy the breathtaking scenery of national parks and outstanding landscapes, and the sites and sounds of ancient towns and vibrant cities. Visiting museums and art galleries and sampling local food and drink all appeal to me.
I have been fortunate to enjoy adventures with several travel companions in recent decades. My journeyings have taken me to several countries in Europe and to Australia, New Zealand, Peru, Mexico, Costa Rica, and various national parks and other places in USA and Canada. I have travelled aboard cruise ships, trains and buses and explored many places in rental cars. Having said all that I’m conscious of a few limitations, mainly age-related, that mean I don’t want to race about in the way that I might have done in earlier times.
