About her
I'm someone who is happiest out of doors - and preferably near the sea. Looking for someone to laugh with, have fun with, explore the coast and countryside and to spend time indulging ourselves together in various ways. Also for someone who has spent time looking inwards and who recognises we are all growing and who wants to share 'the road less travelled'.
Keen environmentalist - not into jet setting holidays or cruises. I've travelled abroad in the past and now prefer to stay in the UK apart from visiting one of my sons who lives in Canada. I'd be happy almost anywhere within reach of the Scottish coast or islands.
Emotionally close to my children and grandchildren but we are geographically separated so rely a lot on FaceTime and messaging.
Enjoy cooking, being cooked for and meals out, eat most things. Enjoy walking, especially if combined with a swim or with foraging.
Have visited naturist beaches and would like it if that was a shared interest, not a deal breaker though.
Am an upbeat person, life has thrown a fair few curved balls at me and I'm still standing!
I've settled in Bournemouth having spent two years travelling around the UK. It felt a great privilege to be able to spend time in the more remote parts of these beautiful islands and swim in wonderfully varied locations from Shetland to Cornwall. I love being here and yet wouldn't rule out moving either within easy reach of South Manchester or maybe even to a Scottish island if I met the right person.
