About her
I don't know how I come across as I've never asked! I think I'm a good listener and communicator, I enjoy gardens, the coast, (short) walks, factual historical and comedy TV, church life, music, holidays, coffee shops.....
I try to be kind, thoughtful, honest, reliable and punctual as they are qualities I value. I am a loyal friend.
I'm not into politics.
My Christian faith is central to my life. I would love to meet someone who shares that faith, or will at least be sympathetic.
My other passions are my family and the natural world. Cities are lovely for a culture fix, as long as I can retreat to the countryside afterwards.
In the past I have been involved in choral music and the theatre.
I enjoy stimulating company, I am not ready for old age yet. I would like to travel more, but it's so much more fun with a companion. In fact, most things are. In the past I've had friends who are so in synch that we finish each others sentences. I would love to experience that again.
I hate being in a rut or a routine which is too rigid. Change can be uncomfortable, but flexibility is good. I try to find different routes to go places, I move my furniture around frequently, and like to try new things. Am I weird? I would love to try painting for example.
This year my challenge to myself has been to lose 2 stone which I have just achieved :)
